Alloy 400
A strong weldable, nickel copper alloy resistant to corrosion by seawater. Used in steam generators, feedwater heaters, cladding of offshore installations, pump and propeller shafts, marine fixtures and fasteners, also chemical processing equipment.
Maher Ltd stock alloy 400 bars in imperial sizes, primarily for the fastener industry. In addition to this extensive size range of round bars, a corresponding stock of hexagon bars is also held.
